Though on wear and tear, you can expect more number of refinishes if you use hardwood flooring or the solid wood flooring. However, the engineered wood flooring is not bad either and the best thing is that it is quite economical as well.
Engineered wood flooring requires much lesser wood than what you would have to use in case of the hardwood flooring. Less wood is going to cost you less money. In addition, there are different layers.
But choose carefully because some engineered floors have top layers so thin that they can’t be sanded and refinished in the future.
